Haven't any of you ever had a dream?

Haven't any of you ever had a dream?

1 note

Aww, you are so sweet to say so!  But you don’t have to be Pascal in order to be my friend!  I want to be your friend because you seem like a really nice person!  So…can we be friends?

Hmm…spiders and bugs?  Actually, all insects really intrigue me!  I encountered a ton of bugs when I lived in the tower, and I guess since I was so interested in the outside world, I developed an interest in bugs!  I wanted to learn everything I could about the world I was kept away from, so to have something creep in from outside was…well…kind of a treat! *giggles*

*smiles* And it’s okay that you don’t like spiders…we all have things that we don’t particularly like!  But, I must say, I think spiders are my favorite!  Their webs are just so beautiful and creative…ohhh, and how they shine in the sunlight in the mornings!  It’s absolutely breathtaking!

*smirks* Do you want to hear a secret, though?  You aren’t the only one who doesn’t like spiders!  I’ll tell you who it is…but you have to keep this between you and I, okay? *tries to silence her giggles as she makes sure the coast is clear before speaking to just a whisper*  Okay…/Eugene/ has an itty bitty fear of spiders!  He’s doesn’t like to admit it, but it’s…uhhh…kind of obvious at times! *bites lip*  He tries to play it “cool”, but spiders do make him a little antsy! *smiles warmly*  But you know what?  He may disagree with me, but I think it’s really cute that Eugene doesn’t like spiders!  It’s just one of the thousands of things I find adorable about him!

Ohhh…uhhh…wow…I haven’t answered /any/ questions in a while, huh?

I am so sorry, everyone!  I didn’t realize how busy things would be getting around here!  Eugene and I have been attending more meetings and royal engagements than usual this month, and I just haven’t had the time to sit down and answer your questions!  You…you guys aren’t mad…are you? *bites lip*  Ohh, I hope I haven’t disappointed anyone!

But, guess what?!  I think I may have time to start answering questions again!  In fact—I think I’ll be responding to one later today! *smiles*  I hope I can get back into my routine with this “blog” again! (*mumbles* I still don’t fully understand how this thing works)  I’ve missed meeting and talking to each and every one of you so much…so I’m so glad I’m now finding time again to respond to your wonderful messages! *smiles*

Thank you so much for being patient during my unexpected hiatus!  It really means a lot to me!

ooc: Thank you for being patient!

I know I haven’t posted anything in over a week—school is just really busy at the moment.  I am currently working on a big reasearch paper right now, so once it is completed, I should hopefully have time again to answer your questions!

I love you guys—thanks for sticking with Rapunzel!

*smiles* Oh, that’s easy!  Hookhand, definitely!  He is the most wonderful pianist I have ever heard!

Did you know he taught himself the piano?  That’s right!  He started playing when he was a child, and just picked it up everything on his own!  Before it was a hidden talent of his…and well, that’s definitely not the case anymore!  I’m so glad that others can experience his passion now!  I try my best to attend every one of Hookhand’s performances, myself!  He’s my friend and I want to support him! *smiles*  Ohhh, and sometimes I even bring my guitar over to the Snuggly Duckling and we have a little jam session together! *giggles*  It’s an honor to play with him!

*smirks* So you can see why we asked him to perform at the wedding! *smiles widely*  He really was the only man for the job!

He’s just so talented and I am thrilled that he is living his dream!  It makes him so happy!

As much as I like Hazelnut Soup, I think I had one too many servings of it in the tower. *laughs*  For those eighteen years, we mostly ate what could be grown, rather than bought because Gothel probably did not want to show her face in public.  Of course it was a very healthy diet and I really appreciate that she was able to provide me with three meals each day!  But…well…it is nice though to be able to try new things. *bites lip*  Uggg, I hope that doesn’t sound selfish!

Oh…sorry!  I got a little side-tracked there, huh? *laughs nervously*  Okay, let’s see…my favorite dish…my favorite dish…that’s tricky, actually!  I’m not a picky eater—I pretty much enjoy any new food I try!  But, I really do enjoy meat dishes—specifically beef and turkey!  Again, for…obvious reasons…we didn’t eat a lot of meat products in the tower.  So, these type of dishes are kind of new to me!  Ohhh, and they are the absolute best when served with a potato or peas on the side!  Also, rice and onions are delicious—both are great in soups, actually!

*gasps* And as long as we are on the subject of food, can we talk about desserts?  I consider them my specialty! *giggles*

I thought I knew how to bake before…but the palace chefs have taught me so much about the art of making desserts!  When I lived in the tower, I usually only made fruit pies and cookies, but now I can also make cupcakes, puddings, truffles, chocolate pies, mousses, and cakes!  Ohh, how I love experimenting with cakes!  I could though…uhh…get a little carried away with those.  For my father’s birthday last year, I made him an ten-layer chocolate cake with strawberry filling!  I even made the chocolate frosting myself!  But…yeah…it was a bit much for just four people to eat! *chuckles to herself*  I was just so excited and I wanted to put what I had learned to the test…but I guess I went a little overboard, huh?

ooc: Quick message

1.) I added a link on the sidebar to all of the answered questions.  This is handy in case you want to make sure the question you are about to ask hasn’t already been answered.

2.) And I’m still working on questions.  Some of these are really taking time for me to properly answer lol  I must admit, this is the first time I have ever practiced creative writing, and sometimes I have a lame imagination and run into a bit of a writer’s block XD  So, bare with me.  I’m not ignoring your questions at all—I’m just trying to think of a plausible, in character response and headcanon to your questions XD

But guys, thank you so much for asking really good questions!  Some ask blogs recieve really random questions, but I am so impressed with what you think of to send Rapunzel.  It means a lot to me that you take the character and this blog seriously.  I love you guys!

I’m hoping to start posting new responses in a few days!  Even though I’m on spring break, a lot of homework was assigned, so I’m trying to juggle homework and having fun during this week.
